My research interests focus on the study of the psychological mechanisms by which well-being and positive health are changed and maintained; the use of well-being in health evaluation; the analysis of social aspects of trauma; and the influences of metacognition on health and well-being. Using an approach based on social cognition, in my laboratory we explore the role of confidence in automatic and controlled processes.
